OK, so I am kind of falling behind on this whole blog thing so I am trying to get back into the swing of it. Sadly nothing overly exciting has happened lately, just the usual life spinning out of control. This coming week is super crazy with four meetings and registration for classes. I have two papers I need to start working on; my English one which I might change the topic of half way through (as usual) and my ten page paper for Legal Philosophy. I just don’t really know where to start on either of them nor do I want to start on them. I also have a test this week in Logic, which I am also not looking forward to. My friend Ben always tells me he wishes he gave college a chance cause it is so much easier than the Marines, but I don’t think he understands that college is not always fun. You pay people a lot of money to give you assignments and homework. Granted, you can choose not to do them but then you fail and paid all that money for nothing. It is times like this that force me to remind myself that the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Now on to something other than school…my life outside of school, what little there is. I was sitting in my living room this morning wondering why in the world there are so many plants in this apartment; I mean does the third roommate think this is her personal green house. There are so many of them, most of which are overgrown, that I feel as if I am in the kid movie Jumanji. While I was sitting in the thick forest that is my living room my sister called. It was no big deal till she sprung news on me that I had yet to hear! I guess my dad has been going to the doctor and they say he is borderline diabetic, so I am not sure how to handle it. I mean I know his dad has diabetes, but everyone always told me he got it from the gases and stuff while away at war. My dad, although retired Navy, never went into an active war zone. I mean don’t get me wrong, I know that people can live with diabetes it is just sad you know. On a bit happier note, I went to a Halloween party this weekend that was a lot of fun. We played some odd games like bagel on a string, so hard to eat a dry bagel.
Well I guess I better figure out what is for dinner. This time change has thrown my whole schedule off balance. Well hope everyone had a good Halloween and is ready to hit the ground running come tomorrow morning.
