Two Weeks

Hey guys!!! So this is my last required blog for my English class, I have not decided if I am going to continue it or not…we will see. For this blog I am just going to talk about my crazy weekend and the week ahead. As most of you know exams are coming up and that means we all have tons of papers to write, but I didn’t stay home to work on it. On Friday I drove up to my dad’s house in Richmond for my Uncle Vinny’s graduation from the police academy and a friend’s wedding to see everyone from high school. I drove up right after class on Friday, which put me there right around dinner time. I like going to my dad’s because it puts me close to my high school friends, but I hate having to find parking on the street downtown. Anyways…back to the weekend.

Saturday morning we had to wake up early so that we could all be ready in time for Vinny’s graduation, which went well. We ate so much food that I could not move, I guess that is what you get with an Italian family. Then I had to go to the wedding. It went ok, I was glad that my best friends from high school were there. After waiting around for the bridal party to take pictures for over two hours they all came out. Not long after that we, meaning my friends and I, bailed. We went back to my best friend Jeremy’s house to change into more comfortable clothes. Then we all loaded into cars so that we could go meet more of our friends and hangout. We all talked for around an hour in the cold, but then I had to leave because I needed to say goodbye to my family and drive the hour back to Richmond. Needless to say I made it back and then drove back to Wilmington on Sunday.

Although this weekend went well, the week that we are starting is crunch time. I have got to finish all of my papers, which are not going so well, and get ready for all my exams which are all the first week of finals. On top of that I am driving to my mom’s house outside Winston Tuesday night for Thanksgiving Break. Once I get there I need to get work done, but don’t know how easy that will be with over ten people staying at my house. Wednesday morning I need to take my car to the shop in hopes of getting it fixed and the oil changed. I guess my days are planned out and my nights will have to be for school work. I think if I can make it through the next two weeks alive and finish my school work, with decent grades, I think that I can make through almost anything.
